Daphne worked for 7 years teaching biochemistry in the University of London and 15 years in the University of Zimbabwe before joining Medical Mission Sisters and also worked with the Movement for a Better World, promoting the value of Christian community. After two years in England and joining an interdenominational hospital chaplaincy team in London, she went to Karachi, Pakistan working as nursing students counsellor and in hospital ministry there for seven years. Since then she has been in London where her principal involvements have been mission promotion, organising and giving mission appeals, working for justice and editing the magazine and website.
