“This is the day that the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it”. We certainly rejoiced on the day of my golden Jubilee of Religious Profession, which we celebrated on 10 th February, 2007 . Fr Austin Garvey was the celebrant for the Eucharist at which I renewed my vows. He and his brother Fr Michael organised retreats for people with physical disabilities and I too was involved with the group, beginning when I was asked to drive the ambulance for them. The celebration was hosted by the community of our international headquarters in Acton who have a big room and wheelchair access. Many of our District members contributed to the celebration with decorations and food. It was altogether a great day!
